THE LEAVES WERE FULL OF CHILDREN (1982) approx 26 minutes In this documentary, widely regarded as the best produced during the artist's lifetime, Lenkiewicz talks about his unusual approach to painting and gives an extended guide to the ‘Riddle Mural’ in the Round Room at Port Eliot. THE PORTRAIT PAINTER (1980) approx 9 minutes While painting a self-portrait with his muse, Mary, Lenkiewicz talks about the romantic myths surrounding the work of the painter. VAGRANCY EXHIBITION (1973) approx 12 minutes This film includes interviews with some of the vagrants including ‘Diogenes’ and ‘The Bishop’. INTERVIEW WITH DIOGENES (1973) approx 6½ minutes Angela Rippon interviews Diogenes (the vagrant, Edwin Mackenzie) at his makeshift home above a Plymouth rubbish tip.
